There's plenty to celebrate in Round 20 for the Sydney Roosters, and no man knows that better than Jared Waerea-Hargreaves as he prepares to Captain the side with Club veteran Mitchell Aubusson.

Not only has he been named as one of the Captains, but he will also be wearing a jersey with his wife's name in place of the Steggles logo to celebrate the NRL's Women In League round.

When asked about the Captaincy, he was humble but never takes opportunities like this lightly.

"It's something that I love doing for the Club, but also an honour to be a leader for the boys on and off the field," he said of the Captaincy.

"I guess It's a different looking side this week and I'll look forward to stepping up for the boys and hopefully come away with a good win."

The Steggles True Legends campaign has been a huge success this week, and it's something that means an awful lot to Jared on Women In League round.

When asked why he chose his wife Chelsea, it was easy to see why.

"She (Chelsea) has been my number one supporter and my rock.

"After every home game I go home to her whether it's a win, loss or draw and she's always the one to lift my spirits.

"She's been there since day one, and what better way to honour her than this.

"It's such a great initiative from Steggles."

Isaac Liu has worked hard to get to his 100th NRL game against the Knights tonight, and no one understands that more than Jared who is very proud of his fellow teammate.

"It's a massive milestone and achievement for him.

"It's a huge credit to his character that he's playing a hundred games for the Club, he's worked really hard to get here.

"I don't know of too many blokes that work harder than him and we want to work hard for him to get what he deserves on this special day."
