The Last Time We Met the Melbourne Storm was at Adelaide Oval in Round 16, and the Roosters looked like they were heading towards a loss until some much-needed brilliance was delivered late in the match.
While the young Melbourne Storm outfit were full of enthusiasm most of the battle, the experience from the Roosters pack would shine through in the clutch though five key steps.
It started with a perfect short-side play from Mitchell Pearce, a clutch sideline conversion from Michael Gordon, a pin-perfect kick from Luke Keary to send Blake Ferguson over, another clutch conversion from Gordon and a field-goal from Mitchell Pearce to ice it.
It will be a different beast this weekend when we meet again with a full strength Melbourne Storm outfit, but it's a challenge that the boys will relish.
