Over 60 hopeful dancers turned out to Easts Leagues Club take part in the 2018 Roosters Girl Auditions.

The music was pumping and the energy was high as the girls attempted complex dance routines in the hopes of earning a spot in the talented squad.

Roosters Girl Christie Anderson said she gains a lot of satisfaction from being a Roosters Girl.

“The best thing about dancing is performing what we practice all week, and I love dancing in front of the huge crowds!

“I like to think we are helping the boys bring home a big win.”

Five-year Roosters Girl veteran Laura Ray said it’s the friendships that keeps her coming back.

“I’ve made so many friends through the Roosters Girls. Every girl in the Club is so friendly which makes the season so enjoyable.

“I love the Club’s professionalism, I enjoy every minute of it and I’m looking forward to another year with the best Club in the NRL!”

Both Laura and Christie agreed that fan engagement is the best thing about being a Roosters Girl.

“We have the best fans in the NRL!” Laura said.

“We meet and greet fans in the forecourt as they arrive and the atmosphere is electric. Seeing the kids all excited about the Roosters and the NRL makes for such a fun day.”

“I love the little girls who turn up in their own little Roosters dress and pompoms as well, it’s so adorable!

“We teach them a few little moves to give them a feel what its like to be a Roosters Girl,” Christie added.

On behalf of everyone at the Sydney Roosters, we’d like to congratulate all the Sydney Roosters Girls that made the squad ahead of the 2018 season.
