With the trials now just around the corner, Ryan Matterson spoke about the squad mentality and the training camp in Queenstown.

"It feels fast-tracked, like everyone has clarity," he said of the team's progress so far.

Ryan Matterson will be looking for a big couple of games in the pre-season, with a couple of spots still open for the taking in the line-up ahead of Round 1.
"I told Robbo (Trent Robinson) that I’m interested in becoming a starting player.
"I’m pretty keen on that starting spot, so I’m going to keep training hard and see where that takes me."
