The Sydney Roosters played their first pre-season trial match last Saturday against the Penrith Panthers at Panthers Stadium.
It was a hot and muggy day in Penrith, but the Roosters would battle on to play two halves with a mandatory drinks break as a result of the heat.
Though there was plenty of physicality on the field, the Roosters medical staff can confirm that all 26 players that took to the field made it through the game without injury concern.
The Roosters will have a near full-strength side available this weekend to take on the Manly Sea Eagles in our second and final trial fixture of the pre-season.
