A Wish Come True For A Young Fergo Fan

A dream came true for young Ewen Kepple last week when he was given the opportunity to fly to Sydney from Darwin and meet his rugby league hero, Blake Ferguson.

Ewen was given one wish by the Starlight Children’s Foundation and couldn’t think of anything he’d rather do than to hang out with his favourite player on his favourite team.

He was given a tour of Roosters Headquarters to see what happens behind the scenes, followed by a front row seat at the Captain’s Run training session where he got to meet the boys, have a chat and get some gear signed.

Ferguson was thrilled to meet Ewen and his family, then topped off an amazing trip by giving Ewen a signed pair of boots, a signed football and even kicked the ball around with him and his sister.

"It was really humbling to meet Ewen and his family," Ferguson said.

"He's a really good kid and a strong kid.

"I feel like it was the least I could do and I wish him nothing but the best."
