Last Time We Met The Rabbitohs

The Last Time We Met the Rabbitohs, our Captain put in an inspirational effort at Allianz Stadium on a week when our State Of Origin stars were unavailable for selection.

Last Time We Met The Rabbitohs

In a grinding battle at Allianz Stadium, the Sydney Roosters walked away with a gutsy and narrow win at home.

Mitchell Cornish was outstanding on the night, with his kicking game being the standout feature of an impressive 80 minutes.

The lone try of the half was scored by Joseph Manu on the back of a clever grubber from Captain Jake Friend.

To kick off the second half, the opposing hooker Robbie Farah hit straight back with a dart out of dummy-half to bring the scores to within two points.

Jake Friend was not willing to let this win get away from his side, so he sent Aidan Guerra over between the uprights to make it an eight point lead.

Rabbitohs centre Bryson Goodwyn barged over late, but it wasn't enough to over come the gutsy Roosters.

It was their second win over the Rabbitohs for the season, a win would see them re-claim the Ron Coote Cup.
