Young Roosters Fall In Final Minutes Of Final

The Sydney Roosters Under 18s S.G. Ball side fell to the Bulldogs in the second round of the finals, which sees them knocked out of the competition.

The Bulldogs came out with plenty of purpose, scoring two quick tries to show they were well and truly up to a match with the Minor Premiers.

They were leading by ten points in the first eight minutes of the game until the Roosters soon hit back with a try to Thomas Giles.

The Bulldogs would come back again though to score two more tries.

Depite the score, the Roosters were determined to go into the half with the lead and hit back with three unanswered tries to Duwayne, Faima and Mckenzie.

The Roosters went into the break with a first half 24-22 lead.

The second half was a back-and-forth affair that saw only four points added to the board, and it was in the closing stages to the Bulldogs.

It was a tough and physical game that saw both teams putting their bodies on the line.

Though it was an unfortunate way to end a great season, the Roosters S.G. Ball squad bow out knowing that they fought their way to the siren all season long.

TRIES: Thomas GILES (13m) Duwayne FUIMAONO(27m) Faima MATILA (30m) McKenzie BAKER (34m)
