Sydney Roosters second rower Ryan Matterson is set for a brief stint on the sidelines as he recovers from wrist surgery.
Matterson has been dealing with an ongoing wrist complaint throughout the season and is having minor arthroscopic surgery today to rectify the issue.
It is expected that he will miss up to two matches while he undergoes rehab and recovery.
