Steggles sign as Major Partner of Sydney Roosters NRL Women’s Team

The Sydney Roosters are pleased to announce that Major Partner Steggles have extended their commitment to the Sydney Roosters, having today being named as the Major Partner for the Roosters NRL Women's (NRLW) Premiership team.

Welcoming Steggles' commitment to the Club's NRLW Premiership team, Sydney Roosters Chairman Mr Nick Politis AM said: "As a Foundation Club, we are delighted to have secured a license for the inaugural season of the NRL Women's Premiership and from the onset, Steggles were keen to extend their partnership to encompass our Women's team, which is wonderful.

"We are looking forward to the competition commencing, and to seeing our players wearing the famous Roosters jersey, proudly adorned with the Steggles logo, in the opening season of the NRL Women's Premiership later this year."

Steggles have featured as the Roosters Major Partner since 2010, and over this time, they have initiated a number of key community programs, including the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest which has raised almost $3 million for Australian Children's Charities.

In 2017, Steggles also brought to life their "True Legends" concept which recognised the expansive role women play in rugby league during the NRL's Women In League Round.

Steggles Managing Director, Mr Simon Camilleri, said: "We are proud to be the Major Partner of the Sydney Roosters, and that our partnership extends across both the Men's and Women's NRL teams.

"With the Roosters featuring in every season of top grade competition since 1908, it's exciting that the Club will be there for the first season of the NRL Women's Premiership, and everyone at Steggles is looking forward to the competition kicking off later this year."
