Isaac Liu started almost the entire season in 2018 and for a player that's always been consistent, this year could have been his best yet.
He quietly went about his work in the opening rounds until he scored his first try in Round 9, which well and truly opened the flood gates for the Iceman.
That try against the Sea Eagles kicked off a legendary try scoring run that saw him score four tries in four games, tying Roosters legend Ian Schubert for the longest try scoring streak for a lock forward.
Liu was rewarded with a starting spot in the Kiwis side that defeated the Kangaroos in a test match at Mt Smart Stadium at the conclusion of the season.
