Four Roosters Nominated For Golden Boot

Three Roosters have been nominated for the RLIF Men's Golden Boot award, while a member of the Inaugural Women's Premiership squad has been nominated for the RLIF Women's Golden Boot award.

James Tedesco, Captain Boyd Cordner and Siosiua Taukeiaho have all been nominated after sensational outings for the Australian Kangaroos and Tonga respectively.

Isabelle Kelly has also been nominated after her dominant performance for the Australian Jillaroos over the Kiwi Ferns earlier in the month.

The RLIF Golden Boot recognises the most outstanding performances in full international matches throughout the year.

This year the award will cover all full international games played from the 2017 World Cup final until November 4, including the first two Tests of the upcoming England-New Zealand series.

The panel will reconvene on November 4 to decide on the final shortlist of 4 players for each award before the announcement which will be made at a celebration dinner on November 7th.

The selection panel includes senior reporter Brad Walter, along with Joanna Lester, Martyn Sadler, Steve Mascord and Dave Woods.
