Season Review | Daniel Tupou

After missing a chunk of the season due to injury, Daniel Tupou returned to the team in fine form for the second half of the season.

He returned against the Wests Tigers at Allianz Stadium, where he scored two tries and made a classic try saving tackle on Corey Thompson.

Tupou played the remaining games in the season and got through an enormous amount of work bringing the ball out of his own end.

Much like 2013, he scored the first Roosters try of the 2018 Grand Final and was once again named in the Tonga squad for the mid season and end of year test matches.

He scored on both occasions.
