Sydney Roosters Members and fans have had their say on who they'd like to see make their NRL debut in 2019, which resulted in our closest Player Poll yet.
Bernard Lewis was a hot favourite in the early stages, only for second-rower Josh Curran to take a convincing lead hours later.
Up-and-coming centre Billy Smith started polling some impressive numbers throughout the following dayto lock up even on votes with Josh Curran.
They stayed level most of the day until Smith came through with the most votes by an extremely narrow 1% lead at the cut-off with over 2,400 votes.
Smith will have a delayed start to his 2019 campaign while he continues to recover from an ACL injury sustained late in the 2018 season, and Roosters fans have made it know that they're looking forward to it.
