The Sydney Roosters Mini League is a fun and exciting competition for boys and girls aged 4 – 8 years.
The Come and Try Mini League is a day for new participants to get a taste of the Sydney Roosters Junior Mini League and Rugby League.
Mini League will be held at Waverley Oval Sunday mornings between April and August, excluding school holidays.
It is a family friendly environment designed to create a positive and rewarding experience for all participants.
The new modified rules ensure a fun and free-flowing game where players are rewarded for their effort.
Players can expect more game time, more involvement and plenty of opportunities to score tries.
Registrations are now open for Mini League.
For children who are new to Mini League or would like to learn more about playing in our exciting competition, come along to the Come and Try Open Day on Saturday 23rd February at Waverley Oval to have fun and meet new friends.
During the session participants will learn basic skills about rugby league and how to land and tackle safely in a non-competitive, fun-based playing scenario.
The aim of the session is to ignite the passion of young players and is all about having fun.
Come and Try will be an event jam packed with Rooters benefits featuring rugby league skills and activities, Roosters merchandise and an appearance by Rocky the Rooster.
We look forward to meeting new and friendly faces to kick off our 2019 season!
Please note the Come and Try event is for new players only.
