Roosters and Bears Hold Holiday Camp

The Sydney Roosters and North Sydney Bears hosted a holiday camp for the first time since the foundation clubs joined forces this season.

It was the first of a few camps run by the Roosters throughout the Easter school holiday break late in April.

Combined with the assistance of our North Sydney Development Officers, Roosters Community Team and Sydney Roosters Women’s Captain Simaima Taufa, the camp gave the kids from North Sydney and the Eastern Suburbs the opportunity to learn passing and kicking techniques in a fun and safe environment.

At the end of their rugby league skills and drills, camp attendees participated in a game of Roosters Dash, where the kids ran in a screaming race challenge.

The top three winners walked away with some awesome Roosters prizes.

Each child who attended the camp received an awesome holiday camp show bag which featured exclusive Roosters merchandise and a special visit from Rocky the Roosters and Barney the Bear.

The Sydney Roosters Community team praised the camp for its high energy and enthusiastic attendees at the conclusion of a successful day.
