Last Time We Met The Storm

The Last Time We Met The Melbourne Storm was on enemy ground in Round 6 at AAMI Park, and on this occasion a nail-biting golden point thriller was on the cards for the Sydney Roosters.

Highlights | Storm v Roosters

The Roosters started the game on fire, scoring three unanswered dazzling tries to stun the Storm who were undefeated in the opening five rounds of the competition.

In a true top four battle fashion, the Storm thundered their way back to level the scores to set up what would be a stunning finish.

It was a finish that Roosters fans will remember for a long time, a stunning Golden Point set of six that started with a brilliant run by Sitili Tupouniua and ended with the art of deception.

Latrell Mitchell (A.K.A option two) slotted his first career field goal and showed great emotion to the Storm crowd in a memorable victory for the Sydney Roosters.
