Clovelly Crocodiles Under 15 Girls Make History

Clovelly Crocodiles JRLFC is excited to have the first ever all-girls Blues Tag team representing the Roosters junior rugby league district.

The driving force of the U15's team is Crocs Under 12’s coach Paul Hinds and his daughter Holly Hinds, who have both been involved at the Crocs for over six seasons.

The girls are a mix of friends from pre-school, primary school (Coogee Public School) and high school, with a diverse school representation including Ascham, Brigidine, Kincoppal, St Clare’s and St Vincent’s.

The team has a strong family connection through the Crocs and many of them play summer sport with and against each other as well.

This season they wanted to get together and give the NRL Blues Tag a go and we’re so glad they did.

They’ve had an impressive start with three solid wins in three rounds and it’s great to see so many districts represented in the all-girls competition.

Round 1 vs Arncliffe Scots (40-8 win)

Round 2 vs Moorebank Rams (36-8 win)

Round 3 vs Mona Vale (36-4 win)

On the back of the U15’s success, the requests have been rolling in for more teams next season!
