Holiday Camp Wrap!

Over 300 kids took part in the Sydney Roosters July School Holiday Camps both in the Eastern Suburbs and on the Central Coast!

The energetic camps were full of fun, laughter, and new friendships.

Whether it was learning great footy skills at the ‘Footy Fever’ Camps, or nailing choreographed hip hop routines with Roosters Dance Director Robyn Parras and the Roosters Girls at the ‘Move and Groove’ camps, there were many memorable highlights and activities to challenge the kids both physically and mentally.

Members of the Sydney Roosters playing squad ran the kids through skills and drills, and also taught them about a healthy lifestyle.

Rocky the Rooster was also big hit, and the Rooster Girls were on hand to teach some fantastic dance routines.

The camps ended with players spending quality time with the kids and signing posters and t-shirts. Each camp attendee also took home an exclusive Sydney Roosters Holiday Camp showbag.

Holiday Camp parent Danny Verus couldn’t be happier with the camp.

“I just wanted to commend the club on a fantastic school holiday program, the level of supervision and organisation of the way the day was run was really first class.”

“My son who knew nobody on the day came away very happy. Thanks to all that contributed”.

Sydney Roosters Community Coordinator Anastasia Actypis said the Holiday camps were a great success with great numbers.

“The kids had a blast!” she said. “And the players had a great time spending time with the kids. It was a really happy environment with lots of great energy and smiles.”

Anastasia wanted to thank everyone who made the camps possible.

“The fantastic NRL Development Officers were a great in helping run the football clinics,

“Huge thanks go out to the parents for bringing their kids along to the camps, we really enjoyed having them, and we hope they all got some special memories to take away from the day.”

“We can’t wait to see everyone back at our next camps!”

Keep an eye out for our Sydney Roosters Holiday Camps in October.
