Following the Sydney Roosters Round 25 match against the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves has been cited by the NRL Match Review Committee.
Waerea-Hargreaves received a Grade 1 Careless High Tackle charge for an incident that occurred in the 73rd minute of the match on Rabbitohs player Liam Knight.
The base penalty for this charge is 100 points.
Should the Club enter an Early Plea, Waerea-Hargreaves will receive 155 points and be suspended for one match.
If the Club elects to enter a Not Guilty Plea and Waerea-Hargreaves is unsuccessful in making his case, he will receive 195 points and be suspended for one match.
Should he be found not guilty at panel, Waerea-Hargreaves will be available for selection for the Roosters’ Qualifying Final.
The Club has until 12pm Saturday to enter a plea.
