Last Time We Met In The Finals

The Last Time We Met The South Sydney Rabbitohs in the NRL Finals was in a Grand Final decider at Allianz Stadium.

Last Time We Met In The Finals

In what was the Roosters final match at Allianz Stadium before the redevelopment, emotions were running high in front of a record breaking crowd.

Defence was the biggest winner for the Roosters, conceding just four points through penalties but allowing no tries in 80 minutes of intense NRL action.

They scored three tries through Daniel Tupou, Blake Ferguson and Paul Momirovski, but the lead was never comfortable.

Adam Reynolds took an attempt at two points after a late penalty to make it a six point game in the dying minutes, but was unable to convert.

It will be remembered at a classic Preliminary Final and an outstanding defensive performance from the Tricolours.
