Season Review | Jared Waerea-Hargreaves

Backing up from a career best year in 2018, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves took no backward steps in 2019.

In a season that required him to step up as Captain alongside Cooper Cronk throughout the year with the absence of Boyd Cordner and Jake Friend, Waerea-Hargreaves was anything but shy of the challenge.

He captained the side in Round 10 against the Brisbane Broncos and was honoured with his first Fan Voted Man Of The Match.

After missing the Preliminary Final due to suspension, Waerea-Hargreaves returned for the NRL Grand Final in what was his most dominant display of the season.

He's currently representing the New Zealand Kiwis for end of season test matches as a reward for his outstanding form.

In 2020 he returns to the Sydney Roosters for his eleventh season with the Club.
