Roosters Christmas Cheer!

The Sydney Roosters visited the Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick to deliver toys and merchandise to the children and families in care for Christmas.

Loaded with Roosters gear, players Kyle Flanagan, Matt Ikuvalu, Billy Smith and Sam Walker joined NRLW Captain Simaima Taufa and the Roosters Girls at the hospital.

The players and Club Ambassadors were grateful for the opportunity to spend the time with families and their children in care over the festive period.

“It must be hard for the parents and young children to spend the Christmas holidays in hospital,” said Community Ambassador Simaima Taufa.

“I hope that our visit has distracted the families and kids from their treatment, and hopefully we have put a smile on their face, especially with the festive season around the corner.

“At this time of year we tend to take things for granted, but coming here has really given the Roosters players and staff here today a greater appreciation for our health, families and surroundings this Christmas.”

On behalf of the Sydney Roosters, we wish all of the families and children at the Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick a Merry Christmas and we are all thinking of you over the Christmas period.
