GAME DAY | What You Need To Know

The Sydney Roosters Men and Women's teams will be competing in the 2020 Perth NRL Nines on February 14-15 at HBF Park.

With plenty of action over the two day tournament, here's everything you need to know about your Roosters in the NRL Nines!

MATCHES

Both the Roosters men and women will play a minimum of two matches throughout the tournament. 

In the men's, the best of the pools will advance to a Quarter Final, followed by a Semi Final to decide the Grand Finalists.

As per the NRLW season, the women will play three matches to decide which two teams go through to the Grand Final.

MEN
Panthers v Roosters (Friday, 4:30 pm)
Roosters v Warriors (Saturday, 11:35 am)

WOMEN
Warriors v Roosters (Friday, 4:05 pm)
Roosters v Broncos (Saturday, 10:20 am)
Dragons v Roosters (Saturday, 4:45 pm)

Pool 1: Panthers, Warriors, Roosters, Knights
Pool 2: Bulldogs, Dragons, Eels, Sharks
Pool 3: Raiders, Wests Tigers, Titans, Rabbitohs
Pool 4: Cowboys, Storm, Broncos, Sea Eagles

NRL Nines Rules

  • Nine players per side, nine minutes per half
  • Unlimited interchange
  • Five tackles per set, rather than six
  • Sin bins: three minutes rather than 10
  • Conversions are drop kicks, with a 25-second shot clock
  • 20/40 kicks introduced, as well as 40/20s
  • Five points, rather than four, awarded for a try scored in the Bonus Zone between the goal posts
  • Drawn matches decided by a golden try

TICKETING

Two-day passes start from $55 for club members and $60 for general public.

Friday tickets are from $20 for club members or $25 for general public, while Saturday tickets are from $35 for club members or $40 for general public.

Fans can also purchase into an Active Zone, a party area at the end of the stadium featuring a DJ, beach deck, merchandise and other benefits.
