Roosters Indigenous Academy Take Down Tigers

The Sydney Roosters Indigenous Academy were on fire at Morry Breen Oval on Saturday afternoon, taking down the Wests Tigers 24-8 for their third win of the season.

The Roosters were near unstoppable in the first half, scoring 18 unanswered points to gain a handy lead over the visitors.

Zoe Cass was first over the line after some nifty play saw her fight her way over in the corner, while Avalon Pallier joined in minutes later.

To close out the first half, Shernille Ellis and Tarnee Evans both nothed four-pointers.

The Wests Tigers drew first blood in the second, but the Roosters hit straight back through Zoe Cass for her second of the afternoon.

A consolation try to Wests Tigers winger Tateana Rauhina was scored in the final minute of the match, but it was too little too late.
