Last Time We Met the Sea Eagles

The Last Time We Met the Sea Eagles was in Round 2 of the 2019 NRL Telstra Premiership season in wet and trying conditions at Lottoland.

Last Time We Met The Sea Eagles

Despite the ominous weather, the Roosters flew out of the gates on enemy territory and showed their 2019 potential after a tough loss the week prior.

Captain Boyd Cordner and Daniel Tupou both bagged a double, while Luke Keary steered his side around like a magician in the absence of Cooper Cronk.

They opened the match with five unanswered tries, but the Sea Eagles did anything but give up in the closing quarter.

Three unanswered tries to close out the match gave the Roosters a light scare, but they would escape one of the toughest grounds to win at in the NRL with their first two points of the season.
