The Sydney Roosters are set for their first afternoon clash since the competition's resumption when they take on the New Zealand Warriors at their Central Coast home base on Saturday.

Both sides are seeking a return to the winners list in Round 11, with the Warriors just four points outside the top eight and the Roosters one point shy of the top four.

The Tricolours will be fresh and raring to go after a few days off in the midst of a nine day turnaround from Round 10.

While the head-to-head is fairly close to being even between the two sides, the Roosters have outscored the Warriors 74-6 in their past two clashes.

Warriors: Adam Pompey comes in at centre for Patrick Herbert, who failed a HIA in round 10. Wayde Egan (hip) and Agnatius Paasi (shoulder) are sidelined. Karl Lawton starts at hooker with Jazz Tevaga at lock and Jack Hetherington moving to prop, with Adam Blair benched while Eliesa Katoa starts in the back row. Chanel Harris-Tavita and Lachlan Burr return on the bench with Agnatius Paasi also making way.

Roosters: Mitch Aubusson starts in the back row for Angus Crichton (knee) with Nat Butcher (ribs) returning on the bench. Isaac Liu starts at lock with Siosiua Taukeiaho shifting to prop and Lindsay Collins to the bench.
