Season Review | James Tedesco

It was a case of more of the same for James Tedesco in 2020, offering plenty of brilliance on the field in his third season with the Sydney Roosters.

He was awarded the Fan Voted Man Of The Match on three occasions in 2020, the second most nods behind veteran winger Brett Morris.

In Round 5 of the season Tedesco claimed his first hat-trick in Roosters colours against the Bulldogs as part of a dominant display from the fullback.

His performance against the Broncos in Round 16 was most impressive, tallying a whopping 5 try assists and 217 running metres.

At the conclusion of the NRL season, Tedesco became the first Roosters player to claim three consecutive Jack Gibson Medal awards.

He would also be named the fullback in the RLPA Players' Dream Team.

New South Wales Blues coach and Roosters legend Brad Fittler named Tedeco as Captain of the Blues squad for game two of the State Of Origin series.

Tedesco will go around again for the Tricolours in 2021 for his fourth season in the red, white and blue.
