Season Review | Joseph Manu

Joseph Manu played in all but one match of the 2020 NRL season, and his fourth season playing first grade rugby league could be considered his most consistent to date.

On top of the obvious attacking potency that Manu provides his side with, his defensive combination with Brett Morris provided plenty of memorable shut-out moments on the right edge.

His Fan Voted Man Of The Match performance against the Gold Coast Titans in Round 11 saw Manu come up with the unquestioned try-saving tackle of the season.

Manu's standout performance at fullback in Round 7 against the St George Illawarra Dragons was one to remember and his flick pass to Jared Waerea-Hargreaves provided us with the Steggles Try of the year.

Manu has become one of the star performers in the Tricolours squad, working on his craft and owning his role, and there's still plenty of room for growth going forward.

The 24 year old centre will be eager for improvement in 2021 as he continues his young career with the Sydney Roosters.
