Season Review | Jared Waerea-Hargreaves

Actions can often speak louder than words, which is why Jared Waerea-Hargreaves continues to be such a valuable member of the Sydney Roosters playing group.

Waerea-Hargreaves was understated in his play in 2020, taking on a workhorse approach with his time on the field and in return had one of his most efficient seasons in the NRL to date.

His tackle efficiency was above 91%, even achieving four matches in 2020 without a single missed tackle.

In round 7, Waerea-Hargreaves stood tallest when Victor Radley and Sam Verrills were ruled out of the match with ACL injuries.

He elected to play all but seven minutes of the match while mustering a monstrous and inspirational performance in the process.

His love for the Club is evident and his leadership is vital within the NRL squad.

The Roosters vice-captain will return for his 12th season with the Club in 2021.
