The 2020 VB Hard Earned Effort Of The Year

We went to the Roosters community to get their thoughts on the 2020 VB Hard Earned Effort of the year and a clear winner has emerged following a one-sided poll over the weekend.

Despite a number of strong contenders in 2020, Brett Morris's cover tackles against the South Sydney Rabbitohs was the clear standout moment to take this year's Hard Earned Effort.

Morris was outstanding for the Roosters all the way through his 2020 campaign, a season that saw him lead the way for the Roosters in tries scored and top the Fan Voted Man Of The Match leaderboard.

His round 3 moment puts an exclamation mark on his determined and gutsy playing style, which was evident all season long from the veteran winger.

"Most guys with speed will get the first guy, but to keep going and get the next one takes something else," Head Coach Trent Robinson said when discussing this moment back in Round 3.

Congratulations to Brett Morris for claiming the 2020 VB Hard Earned Effort of the year.
