Roosters Members and supporters will be treated to two matches on Sunday afternoon, as the North Sydney Bears take on the Western Suburbs Magpies in Round 2 of Knock On Effect NSW Cup clash at 6:20pm following the NRL match.

In the NRL clash between the Roosters and Wests Tigers, a majority of the side stays intact from last Saturday's landslide victory over the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, with Freddy Lussick and Nat Butcher replacing Jake Friend (HIA) and Angus Crichton (Suspension) respectively. Drew Hutchison has been added to Trent Robinson's interchange bench as a utility.

The Roosters backline will look to continue their try-scoring ways, with Brett Morris scoring his eleventh career treble on the weekend, while fellow hat-trick hero James Tedesco has been named co-captain alongside Luke Keary.

Tricolours Full Of Praise For Hat-Trick Heroes

Easts return to Campbelltown Sports Stadium for the first time since Round 14 2017, where the Tricolours blew away their opponents 40-18 and will be looking to extend their form against the Wests Tigers, having won the previous four clashes.

The home side will be looking to avenge their Round 1 loss against the Canberra Raiders, and will welcome back Adam Doueihi from suspension in a boost to their line up.

Despite the contrasting Round 1 results, there are a number of enticing matchups to look forward to on Sunday afternoon, particularly in the engine room as countrymen Siosiua Taukeiaho and James Tamou face off up front, while international representatives Daniel Tupou and David Nofoaluma go toe-to-toe on the wing.

Young five-eighths Lachlan Lam and Doueihi will come up against one another for the first time, with both 22-year-olds looking to stamp their mark alongside their more experienced halves partners.

The matchup will be the 37th meeting between the Sydney Roosters and Wests Tigers, and just the seventh at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

So make sure to grab your tickets here, become a True Rooster and cheer on the Red, White and Blue on Sunday afternoon!
