The Sydney Roosters are proud to announce the completion of the new-look Easts Leagues Club revamp in Bondi Junction, headlined by Artie's Sports Bar, Olive & Oak and the Bondi Room.
Roosters Members and supporters are invited to attend the Official Opening of the new look Easts at Bondi Junction when our Sydney Roosters tackle the South Sydney Rabbitohs this Friday 26 March.
The new-look Easts - home of the Sydney Roosters - has undergone a major renovation and the first stage will open tomorrow, Tuesday 23 March, ahead of a huge Official Opening this Friday night.
There's bound to be something for everyone, including:
- Craft beer hour from 4pm to 6pm with $6 schooners of 4 Pines, Balter and Pirate Life;
- Two NRL games live and loud from 6pm including the huge clash between the Rabbitohs and our Roosters;
- Photos and pre-game analysis with Gus Worland, Anthony Minichiello, and former Roosters greats;
- Live music with a three-piece band kicking off immediately after the Rabbitohs v Roosters match.
Easts has undergone a huge transformation with all areas of the venue renovated over recent months, including:
- Olive & Oak - a contemporary and relaxed dining experience on level 1 overlooking Spring Street;
- Artie’s - named after Sydney Roosters legend Arthur Beetson and featuring live mainstream sports across five large screens, and with a fantastic menu including traditional bar favourites;
- Bondi Room – adjacent to Artie’s and activated for large crowds of sports fans including Roosters game days, with three huge projectors and a further four large screens that will leave you feeling like you’re at the game.
Artie's Sports Bar Is Now Open!
Easts is excited to announce the opening of our new sports bar, Artie’s, named after Sydney Roosters legend Arthur Beetson.
The bar is inspired by times passed, with a classic matured cedar theme and a wall featuring imagery that captures the many iconic moments throughout Artie’s journey as a player, coach and mentor.
It wouldn’t be Artie’s without sport, and the new bar will feature live mainstream Australian, American and European sports across five large screens. For Roosters Members and fans, there’ll be no better place to meet, watch and celebrate a Roosters win with family and friends.
Easts Group CEO Joe Kelly expressed his excitement in announcing the opening of Artie's.
“We are honoured to have the support of the Beetson family by naming our new sports bar after Arthur," Mr Kelly said.
"While everyone knows of Artie’s illustrious rugby league career for his Club, State and Country, off the field he was a friend to all and enjoyed a beer with teammates, family, friends and fans, so it’s fitting that our new bar should be named after him.”
Artie’s offers a fantastic snack menu including Salt & Pepper Squid and Sticky Fried Chicken, as well as traditional mains such as Mushroom & Ricotta Ravioli, Grain Fed Rump and Artie’s signature Beef ‘n’ Bacon Burger.
And for those that enjoy a beer with their sport, Artie’s caters traditional beverages with Carlton Draught, VB, and Reschs amongst others, as well as pouring craft beers including 4 Pines, Balter and Pirate Life.
For major sporting events, the adjacent Bondi Room will be activated to cater to large crowds of sports fans, with three huge projectors and a further four large screens that will leave you feeling like you’re at the game!
