Pathways Results Round 14: Roosters Coast Past Tigers

The Central Coast Roosters Harvey Norman Women's Premiership side has come away with yet another victory on the weekend as the North Sydney Bears and Sydney Roosters Jersey Flegg enjoyed the bye in Round 14.

Roosters Coast Past Wests Tigers

The Central Coast Roosters ran away with a 30-14 win over the Wests Tigers at Morry Breen Oval on Sunday afternoon.

It was a dream start for the Tricolours as Tayla Predebon got over the line after two minutes, and soon they held a 10-nil lead soon after as winger Claire Reed crossed for a try of her own.

But two quick-fire tries to the Tigers saw them level up after 20 minutes played, until a four-pointer from Caitlan Johnston in the shadows of half-time saw the Roosters head into the sheds with a 14-10 lead.

In the second stanza the Tricolours shot out of the blocks to extend their lead beyond doubt, as Simone Simone crossed minutes from resumption and Claire Reed claimed her double.

Alicia Martin sealed the result in the 54th minute, and although the Tigers had the final say with a try in the dying minutes, the Roosters extended their winning streak to ten in a row with a 30-14 victory.

The Central Coast Roosters will host Glebe Dirty Reds at Morry Breen Oval on Saturday at 5:00pm in the final round of the Harvey Norman Women's Premiership before the finals series.

Central Coast Roosters 30 (Claire Reed 2, Tayla Predebon, Caitlan Johnston, Simone Simone, Alicia Martin tries; Hannah Southwell 2, Brydie Parker goals) def Wests Tigers 30
