Your Game Plan Round 23

The run towards the finals heats up with a Sunday afternoon clash against St George Illawarra Dragons at Clive Burghofer Stadium in Toowomba.

It is a rare Sunday game for the Roosters, with this clash just the third Sunday game of 2021 for the Club and the first Sunday game since defeating the Dragons on ANZAC Day.

Whether you are watching at home or cheering for the team at Clive Burghofer Stadium (also known as Toowoomba Sports Ground), here are all the details you need to prepare for Sunday’s match, which will kick off at 2pm AEST.

Tickets go on sale at 11am on Tuesday, August 17 on Ticketek. With a capacity of 9000, make sure you secure your tickets to avoid missing out!

Gates will open at 12pm, giving spectators plenty of time to find their seat for the game – which is the 2nd NRL game to be played in Toowoomba.

All spectators must comply with COVID-19 safety measures as well as abide by the venue’s conditions of entry. Please do not go to the game if experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms. People may be denied if not complying with the current Queensland Government health orders.

Toowoomba is about 125km away from Brisbane, and Clive Burghofer Stadium is a short distance from Toowomba’s CBD. To ensure a smooth journey to and from the game, Roosters Members and fans are urged to plan ahead and consider all transport options.

Use the TransLink website to find how you can use public transport to get to the game, and there is a lot of parking options close to around the stadium.
