The Sydney Roosters are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former player Mal Connor.
Connor, Rooster #673, played 33 first-grade matches for the Club between 1976-1980, primarily playing at hooker.
A local junior, Connor was part of the triumphant 1976 President's Cup side that took out the title that year, and also featured in the 1977 AMCO Cup Final in the Red, White and Blue and is remembered as a respected and much-loved teammate.
The Sydney Roosters extend their heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of Mal Connor at this time.
