Judiciary Update Round 24

The Sydney Roosters have elected to enter early guilty pleas in relation to the Grade One Crusher Tackle charge on Fletcher Baker, the Grade One Careless High Tackle charge on Isaac Liu and the Grade One Dangerous Throw charge on Egan Butcher. 

As a result, Baker will accrue 150 points and will be unavailable to line up for one match. 

Liu will receive a monetary fine of $1150, while Butcher will receive a monetary fine of $1350. Both will be available for selection for the Roosters' Round 25 match against the Canberra Raiders.

Following the Sydney Roosters Round 24 match against the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Fletcher Baker, Isaac Liu and Egan Butcher have been cited by the NRL Match Review Committee.

Fletcher Baker was charged with a Grade One Crusher Tackle charge resulting from an incident in the 13th minute of the match. 

The base penalty for the charge is 200 points.

Should the Club enter an early guilty plea, Baker will receive 150 points and will be unavailable for one match. If found guilty at the panel, Baker will receive 200 points and be unavailable for two matches. 

Isaac Liu was charged with a Grade One Careless High Tackle charge resulting from an incident in the 39th minute of the match. 

The base penalty for the charge is a monetary fine of $1500. 

Should the Club enter an early guilty plea, Liu will receive a monetary fine of $1150. If found guilty at the panel, Liu will receive a monetary fine of $1500. 

Egan Butcher was charged with a Grade One Dangerous Throw Charge resulting from an incident in the 60th minute of the match.

The base penalty for the charge is a monetary fine of $1500. 

Should the Club enter an early guilty plea, Butcher will receive a monetary fine of $1350. If found guilty at the panel, Butcher will receive a monetary fine of $1800. 

The Club has until Monday at 12pm to enter their plea.
