Expression of Interest: 2022 Sydney Roosters Tarsha Gale & Female Junior Development Program

Are you looking to play Rugby League, or make the next big step in your career? The Sydney Roosters in conjunction with the Indigenous Academy are asking young women for an expression of interest to join the 2022 Roosters Tarsha Gale team to apply below.

The Sydney Roosters was the first club in the female space to have a pathway going from Tarsha Gale (U19s), Harvey Norman Women's Premiership (Opens) through to the NRLW (First Grade).

The Club has seen exponential growth within the Women's Pathways, evidenced by the 2021 Tarsha Gale team who reached the Grand Final, as well as the Central Coast Roosters Harvey Norman Women's Premiership team who claimed back-to-back Premierships in 2020 and 2021, while the Sydney Roosters NRLW were also Grand Finalists in 2020.

The Club takes great pride in the growth and development of the Women's game,  and will be providing a women's junior development program to coincide with the Tarsha Gale program for girls turning 17 in 2022.

To be eligible to participate in the 2022 Tarsha Gale Competition you must be born in 2004 or 2003.

To be eligible to participate in the 2022 Female Junior Development Program you must be born in 2005.

Please note training will commence from November until May, with three training sessions per week including additional sessions.

Please ensure your availability for all these sessions at the Roosters Academy Training Facilities prior to filling out the application.

Applications are now closed. Successful applicants will be contacted in October about more information with trials/training for the program.

For any questions or enquiries, please contact Junior Representative and Pathways Manager Blake Cavallaro via email on blakec@sydneyroosters.com.au.
