NRL Line Up for Round 3 v Rabbitohs

Update | Trent Robinson has reduced the squad to 19 players 24 hours out from kick off.

Naufahu Whyte, Adam Keighran, Renouf Atoni and Kevin Naiqama come out of the side this week, leaving Lachlan Lam and Daniel Suluka-Fifita on the extended bench.

The final team will be confirmed one hour prior to kick off tomorrow.

The Sydney Roosters are proud to announce the NRL Round 3 line up to take on the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Accor Stadium this Friday night.

The Tricolours will be looking to build on their strong display over the Sea Eagles last week in what will be the 250th meeting of Easts and Souths.

Rabbitohs vs Roosters Kick Off:	8:05pm

Head Coach Trent Robinson has listed a similar squad to the one that was victorious last week, with just two changes to the team that overcame Manly last week.

Nat Butcher, fresh off a two-try performance, has been promoted to the starting line up, with Angus Crichton moving to the bench.

Billy Smith and Paul Momirovski have also switched places in the backline.

They will be joined by Captain James Tedesco at fullback, with Daniel Tupou and Joseph Manu rounding off the backline.

Sam Walker and Luke Keary continue their combination in the halves, while Siosiua Taukeiaho, Connor Watson and Lindsay Collins line up in the front row.

The starting side is rounded off with Butcher, Sitili Tupouniua and Victor Radley in the back row.

Drew Hutchison, Fletcher Baker, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Crichton make up the interchange bench, with Lachlan Lam named at 18th man.

The extended bench features Daniel Suluka-Fifita, Freddy Lussick, Naufahu Whyte, Adam Keighran, Renouf Atoni and Kevin Naiqama.

Hutchison: "We Learn From Our Mistakes Quickly"

With the Ron Coote Cup again up on the line this year, the match will double as the first leg in the annual battle for the prestigious piece of silverware.

Members and supporters will also be given the opportunity to watch the next generation of Roosters in action, as feeder club North Sydney Bears take on the Rabbitohs in the Knock On Effect NSW Cup game at 5:35pm.

The Roosters will be looking to string back to back wins together for the first time this season, while South Sydney are still searching for their first win of the campaign.

With another exciting season now underway, Roosters Members have come out in force and created history yet again, smashing the 16,000 milestone in record time.
