Update: NRLW Line Up for Round 5 v Dragons

The Roosters' side to take on the St George Illawarra Dragons at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium on Saturday afternoon has been trimmed 24 hours prior to kick-off. 

The starting side remains as named 1-17 as named on Tuesday. 

Pani Hopoate and Taylor-Adeline Mapusua have been retained as 18th and 19th person respectively, while Joeli Morris, Lauretta Leao-Seve, Otesa Pule, Shawden Burton, and Teneka Todhunter drop off the extended bench. 

The final line up will be available one hour prior to kick-off at 12:00pm

The Sydney Roosters are proud to announce the NRLW Round 5 line up to take on the St George Illawarra Dragons at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium in Kogarah on Saturday afternoon.

The Roosters will be headlining a double header in Kogarah at 12pm, with the Dragons and Panthers Tarsha Gale Cup teams featuring in a curtain-raiser at 11am.

Following their heart-stopping 19-18 win last Sunday in Newcastle, John Strange has named his 24-player squad to take on the Dragons.

Captain Corban Baxter takes her place at fullback once again, joined by Leianne Tufuga, Jessica Sergis, Isabelle Kelly and Brydie Parker in the backline.

Fresh off booting the match winning field goal against the Eels, Zahara Temara has retained her spot at five-eighth, partnering Raecene McGregor in the halves.

Sarah Togatuki, Olivia Higgins and Mya Hill-Moana line up in the front row.

Rounding off the starting side is Yasmin Meakes and Olivia Kernick in the back row, while Hannah Southwell locks up the scrum in the no.13.

NRLW Round 4 Highlights: Roosters vs Eels

The interchange bench features Jocelyn Kelleher, Keilee Joseph, Tayla Predebon and Simone Karpani.

Joeli Morris has been named as 18th player.

Pani Hopoate, Lauretta Leao-Seve, Otesa Pule, Shawden Burton, Taylor-Adeline Mapusua and Teneka Todhunter round off the 24-player squad on the extended bench. 

There's plenty on the line for both sides this week, with the Roosters looking to secure a semi final spot against the unbeaten Dragons following two consecutive wins.
