The Sydney Roosters have elected to enter an early guilty plea in relation to the Grade One Dangerous Contact charge on Jared Waerea-Hargreaves. 

As a result, Waerea-Hargreaves will receive a monetary fine of $1000, and will be available for selection for the Roosters' Round 6 match against the New Zealand Warriors.

Following the Sydney Roosters Round 5 match against the Brisbane Broncos, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves has cited by the NRL Match Review Committee.

Waerea-Hargreaves was charged with a Grade One Dangerous Contact charge resulting from an incident in the 72nd minute of the match. 

The base penalty for the charge is a monetary fine of $1500. 

Should the Club enter an early guilty plea, Waerea-Hargreaves will receive a monetary fine of $1000. If found guilty at the panel, Waerea-Hargreaves will receive a monetary fine of $1500. 

The Club has until Monday at 12pm to enter their plea.
