Your 2022 Game Plan | Indigenous Round

The Sydney Roosters will join the NRL’s annual Indigenous Round celebrations when we take on the Cronulla Sharks at PointsBet Stadium on Saturday night.

Indigenous Round recognises the significant contribution Indigenous people have made to rugby league. The Roosters have had many Indigenous players make a great contribution to the Club, including NRL Immortal Arthur Beetson.  

The contest will double as our first game against the Sharks since Roosters Life Member Craig Fitzgibbon took the Head Coaching reigns at Cronulla.

Whether you are cheering on the Roosters at PointBet Stadium or Easts Bondi Junction, or watching the game at home, here is this week’s game plan to make the most of your game day experience:

Roosters Members and fans can get their tickets for this Saturday’s game through Ticketek. Due to the stadium’s limited capacity, all reserved seating is sold out and only general admission tickets are available.    

Tickets for our SCG games against Melbourne and Brisbane, as well as our Central Coast home game against the Dragons, are now on sale through Ticketek.

Roosters Members with full-season access (Gold, Silver, Chookpen and Bronze) must redeem their ticket for the Central Coast game through Ticketek.

CALL YOURSELF A ROOSTER

It's never too late to Call Yourself a Rooster by becoming a Member in 2022. For fans wanting the best seats in the new Sydney Football Stadium with a reserved seat Membership in 2023, you must be a 2022 Member to be part of the seat allocation process, which will begin soon.

GETTING TO THE GAME

With limited parking near PointsBet Stadium, Roosters supporters are encouraged to take public transport to the game. Free train travel and shuttle bus services are included in your ticket. Shuttle buses will operate between Caringbah, Cronulla and Woolooware stations and the stadium, before and after the game. You can plan your trip via NSW Government’s Trip Planner.

For those planning to drive to the game, please note the section of Captain Cook Drive close to the stadium will be closed from 10 minutes before full-time until 30 minutes after full-time (with buses only permitted).

MERCHANDISE

Get decked out in Red, White and Blue by visiting the Roosters Shop at Bondi Junction.

The Roosters Shop will be open from 11am-3pm on Saturday.

For Roosters fans unable to get to the Roosters Shop, a great range is available through the online store.

Roosters Members can show their Membership card or enter a code online to get a 10% discount.

YOUR HOME BEFORE AND AFTER THE GAME

If you are not at Shark Park, the next best place to watch Saturday’s game is Easts Bondi Junction – home of the Sydney Roosters.

Enjoy a pre-game lunch or dinner at Olive & Oak or Arties, and hang around after the game to enjoy 49% off drinks in the two-hour happy hour, beginning at full-time.

The Club’s website and social media channels are the ultimate place to go for all the latest news and team updates throughout the day.

The Club will publish the final team lists, highlights, match reports and post-game reactions throughout the day.

Members and fans unable to attend Saturday’s game can watch it live on Fox League (Foxtel channel 502) or stream on Kayo.
