Roosters Announce 2022 NRLW Squad

The Sydney Roosters are pleased to announce that the Club’s 2022 NRLW squad has been finalised.

16 members of the Roosters’ 2021 Premiership-winning squad have re-committed to the Tricolours in lead-up to the 2022 season kicking off.

Joining those returning is an exciting mix of experience, as well as some of the game’s most talented up-and-coming players.

There’s a lot of hunger within the group to continue to build and improve both as individuals and as a team to ensure we do the Roosters jersey proud.

“We’re really pleased with the balance of the squad we’ve assembled,” said Roosters NRLW Head Coach John Strange.

“More than half our 2021 squad has been retained and the additions we have made will bring a terrific blend of youth and experience to the group which is exciting.

"A number of the new additions to our squad have progressed through the Club’s pathway which is also a terrific reflection of the growth in the women’s game.

“Now that the squad has been finalised, the hard work is about to begin. There’s a lot of hunger within the group to continue to build and improve both as individuals and as a team to ensure we do the Roosters jersey proud,” he added.

The 24-player squad will assemble for pre-season later this month ahead of the 2022 NRLW Premiership kicking off in August.
