NRL Judiciary Update Round 19

The Sydney Roosters have elected to enter an early guilty plea in relation to the Grade One Careless High Tackle charge on Matt Lodge. 

As a result, Lodge will receive a monetary fine of $1800 and will be available for selection for the Roosters' Round 20 match against the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles on July 25.

Following the Sydney Roosters Round 19 match against the Newcastle Knights, Matt Lodge has been cited by the NRL Match Review Committee.

Lodge was charged with a Grade One Careless High Tackle charge resulting from an incident in the 8th minute of the match. 

Should the Club enter an early guilty plea, Lodge will receive a monetary fine of $1800.

If found guilty at the panel, Lodge will receive a monetary fine of $2500.

The Club has until 12pm on Monday to enter their plea.
