Roosters Radio Ep 137: Gus Worland

In this week's episode of Roosters Radio, we sit down with Gus Worland, the founder of Gotcha4Life, ahead of this week's game against Manly for the Gotcha4Life Cup.

Gotcha4Life is a mental health charity improving mental fitness. Gus shares with us why he started the foundation, the programmes they run and the goal of Gotcha4Life.

We review our huge win against the Knights and preview this Thursday's massive clash with Manly.

The Roosters tragic had a blunt but meaningful message behind his cause.

“The stats are horrible,” Worland said.

We lose seven blokes a day every day, two women a day every day and we’ve got someone attempting suicide every 28 seconds in this country.

Those stats are shocking and they’re real. We need to put a line in the sand and that’s why I’ve decided to do what I've been doing for the past five years.

“All I want to do is get that suicide rate down to zero.”
