The Sydney Roosters have elected to enter an early guilty plea in relation to the Grade One Dangerous Contact charge on Jared Waerea-Hargreaves. 

As a result, Waerea-Hargreaves will receive a monetary fine of $3000 and will be available for selection for the Roosters' Round 21 match against the Brisbane Broncos on August 4. 

In regards to the Grade Two Careless High Tackle charge on Egan Butcher, the Club has elected to enter an early guilty plea.

As a result, Butcher will be unavailable for the Roosters' Round 21 match against the Brisbane Broncos with a one match ban.

Following the Sydney Roosters Round 20 match against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Egan Butcher have been cited by the NRL Match Review Committee (MRC).

Hargreaves was charged with a Grade One Dangerous Contact offence from an incident in the 62nd minute.

Should the Club enter an early guilty plea, Waerea-Hargreaves will receive a monetary fine of $3,000.

If found guilty at the panel, Waerea-Hargreaves will face a two-match ban due to the incident being his third and subsequent offence this year.

Butcher was charged with a Grade Two High Tackle - Careless offence from an incident in the 80th minute.

Should the Club enter an early guilty plea, Butcher will receive a one match ban.

If found guilty at the panel, Butcher will be suspended for two matches.

The Club has until 12pm on Monday to enter their pleas.
