Seniors Report: Central Coast Off To Perfect Start

The Central Coast Roosters got their 2023 Harvey Norman Women's campaign off to a dream start, claiming a 22-14 win over Wentworthville at Morry Breen Oval.

With a few familiar faces from last year's NRLW side in the line up, the Roosters wasted little time getting to work in the first Senior Representative competition of the new year.

Tries to Charlize Lloyd-Phillips, Sarah Dimech and Joeli Morris saw the Roosters race to a 16-0 half time lead.

While the Magpies put up a spirited fightback in the second half, another try to Morris saw the Roosters pull ahead to an unassailable position midway through the second stanza.

The win sees the Roosters move to a Round 2 clash with Mounties at Morry Breen Oval next week.
