NRL Pre-Season Challenge Rd.2 Team List

A host of NRL stars have been named to line up for the Sydney Roosters in the Club's final trial match for 2023.

Round 2 of the Pre-Season Challenge will see the Roosters take on the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at 8pm on Friday night.

The match will be Game Two of a Double Header at Industree Group Stadium on the Central Coast.

The game will be the Roosters first and only hit out in New South Wales before the start of the 2023 season, meaning this is your only chance to see the squad live in action before Round 1.

Sitting first and second respectively on the Pre-Season Challenge ladder, both the Roosters and Sea Eagles have a chance to wrap up the inaugural prize for winning the pre-season tournament.

Should either side win the game and pick up all three bonus points, they would have an unassailable 16 point lead on top of the table.

Trent Robinson has named a near-full strength starting 13, while the remainder of the 26-man squad features a number of names who impressed last week.

James Tedesco, Daniel Tupou, Joseph Suaalii, Lindsay Collins and Nat Butcher have all been named for their first taste of football for 2023.

Corey Allan has been named in the centres for his maiden appearance for the Tricolours, while Jaxson Paulo, Drew Hutchison, Sam Walker, Brandon Smith, Matt Lodge, Egan Butcher, Victor Radley and Jake Turpin will back up after strong outings in Geelong.

Proceedings will kick off early at Industree Group Stadium, with the Knights and Eels in action from 5:55pm before the Roosters take on Manly at 8pm.
