The Sydney Roosters have tonight been successful in overturning the Grade One Careless High Tackle charge against Fletcher Baker at the NRL Judiciary.
The Club entered a plea of not guilty for Baker after he was cited for an incident that occurred in the 63rd minute of the Roosters’ Round 3 clash with the South Sydney Rabbitohs, which the NRL Judiciary accepted at a hearing this evening.
As a result, Baker will not receive a monetary fine and will be available for selection for the Sydney Roosters’ Round 5 match against the Parramatta Eels.

Sydney Roosters have submitted their pleas for Joseph Manu and Fletcher Baker, after the two were cited in their Round 3 clash with the Rabbitohs.
Sydney Roosters has entered an early guilty plea in relation to a Grade Two Careless High Tackle charge on Joseph Manu. As a result, Manu will be unavailable for one match.
In relation to the Grade One Careless High Tackle charge on Fletcher Baker, the Club have elected to enter a plea of not guilty, with the Judiciary hearing set to take place on Tuesday evening.

Following the Sydney Roosters Round 3 match against the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Fletcher Baker and Joseph Manu have been cited by the NRL Match Review Committee.
Baker was issued with a Grade One Careless High Tackle charge, while Manu was issued with a Grade Two Careless High Tackle Charge. Both incidents occurred during the second-half of the game.
Should the Club elect to enter an early guilty plea for Baker’s charge, the 23-year-old will receive a monetary fine of $1000. However, if found guilty at the judiciary, he will receive a $1500 fine.
Should the Club elect to enter an early guilty plea for Manu’s charge, the centre will be unavailable for one match. If found guilty at the judiciary, however, he will be unavailable for two matches.
Sydney Roosters has until Monday at 12pm to enter their pleas.
