Your 2023 Game Plan | Round 16

Your Sydney Roosters head north this week for a Saturday afternoon clash with the Newcastle Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium.

Roosters supporters will be treated to a double-header on Saturday, with the NSW Cup teams going head-to-head at 12:40pm before the NRL match kicks off at 3:00pm.

The Tricolours hold a 71% win record at the venue and no doubt they'll be aiming for a similar result as their last encounter with the Knights, which resulted in a 30-point victory.

Members and fans are encouraged to purchase tickets as soon as possible to secure the best possible seat. Tickets are on sale via Ticketmaster.

Tickets for all Allianz Stadium home games, including the June 25 game against the Raiders, are also on sale through Ticketek.

GETTING TO THE GAME

Catching the train to McDonald Jones Stadium is a great way to get to and from the game. Regular trains are available from Sydney and stop at stations including Central, Strathfield, Hornsby, Gosford, Wyong, Morisset and Cardiff, on route to Broadmeadow. Broadmeadow train station is a 10-minute walking distance to the venue. Roosters Members and fans catching public transport are encouraged to use Trip Planner.

If your plan on driving to the game, be sure to plan your drive with Live Traffic NSW. Parking on game days is only available for vehicles with a pre-paid parking ticket. Pre-paid parking tickets are sold out.

MAKE EASTS PART OF YOUR GAME DAY

If you are not heading to Newcastle for the game, the best place to watch Saturday’s game is Easts Bondi Junction - home of the Sydney Roosters!

Enjoy lunch or dinner at Easts, with Artie’s operating an exclusive game day menu, or book a table to enjoy a meal at Olive & Oak. After the game, hang around for Happy Hour, which will run for two-hours after full-time.

The Club’s website, social media and app are the ultimate place to go for all the latest news and team updates throughout the day. The club will publish the final team lists, highlights, match reports and post-game reactions across the weekend.

Members and fans can watch the Round 16 clash live on Fox League (Foxtel channel 502), while a live stream is also available through Kayo.
